Vintage Silver On Copper Old Sheffield Plate Tea Coffee Service C395 ECP EXC

Description

This Coffee/Tea Service is beautiful and in excellent condition.  I believe this is Old Sheffield Plate.  The bases of all 4 pieces are marked with the Lion Symbol and "ECP."  They are additionally marked with hand written "C395."  They are clearly silver over copper that you can see at the seams between the bases, as well as other seams.  None of those glimpses of copper are obvious and I needed magnification to see most of them.  The lids have wood finials that may be ebony.  To the tops of the finials they measure:  Large Pot 8-1/4"; Smaller Pot 6-5/8"; Sugar 5-1/4"; Creamer 3-1/4".  Each piece is etched with a floral and leaf pattern front and back.  Curvy handles with thumb rests.  Wavy patterned rims that line up to the indentations in the bodies of the pieces.  Overall excellent condition with only few random tiny dents or scratches.  I tried to find the name of this pattern but could not.  Please message us through ebay with any questions, comments or information regarding this set and we'll respond promptly.  Shipping will be calculated based on your zip code.
